The beginning of autumn

26 October, 2017 4 Comments

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, so here’s a few pictures I took while it on a walk in Berkshire when visiting my sister last month.

The countryside around Becky’s house is gorgeous. Farmland and ancient woodland are abound and it’s also a great place to see a red kite, which was super exciting for me to spot.

We have been hibernating somewhat this autumn and I have been missing being outside in the countryside, with cobwebs thoroughly blown away. Hopefully soon we’ll be out amongst wild things again.

Hi Charlotte, that is a great photo of the red kite! I would have been excited too. Love the photo of the blackberries too. Very autumnal!

Great pictures! There is nothing like an autumn walk to blow away the cobwebs and leave you refreshed. There are so many beautiful things to see in nature at this time of year #mmbc

It’s interesting to see nature photoed in this way. Despite missing the rich reds and yellows it’s pulling me in and making me consider a walk again. #mmbc

What lovely photos! I like that you really captured autumn, but without all the colourful leaves and other browns and reds that one normally associates with autumn. Beautiful and creative – I love it!
