It’s looking fabulous at the moment, everywhere a riot of colour.
The highlight for me being the vegetable gardens; the rhubarb is impressive and I’m going to be looking forward to seeing if the runner beans reach the top of their enormous frame.
Love that you can buy some of their produce too (and they sell some brilliant plants next to the cafe as well).
The alpine meadow and the specimens in the glass houses all looking super too.
Major cold frame envy
#WisteriaHysteria. This wisteria looks a bit straggly, but it is very, very old (that’s its trunk in the background) and if you look up into the trees beside it you can see it has grown amongst the branches. Beautiful.
Myddelton House Gardens is open all year and has free entry (there is a small fee for parking though). There is a nice cafe and lots and lots to explore, this post has hardly scratched the surface. Go!
