It’s been a long standing ambition of mine to host a crafternoon. I love the idea of people coming together, making things and having good conversation and I made it a resolution at the beginning of this year to host one. Well, I’m actually getting my arse into gear and doing it. I thought though rather than an afternoon, I’d host an evening, on a Friday and make it fairly Christmas related. An evening so I can bring out some un-child friendly craft equipment but mostly because I also want to make some cocktails too. I figure if you have some craft projects you want to work on, then being them, otherwise I can show you how to make some nice gift tags using some embossing techniques (and glitter, lots of glitter), or you could decorate a wooden spoon using a bit of pyrography. Maybe if you have a skill to share or supplies to use up, you could bring them along, but otherwise it would be just nice to see you all. Please don’t feel you have to be creative to come along, sometimes it’s just nice to try something new.

The date is Friday 18th November, round my house in (very) north London. Would you like to come? You would be more than welcome to. Just fill in the form below and I’ll send you the details.

  1. What a great idea! Good for you actually getting this one checked off the list and having a lot of fun in the process. Im not very crafty, but if I was it sounds like a lovely thing to do 🙂 Thanks for sharing this on #MarvMondays, would love to hear how it goes! Emily
