You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran
Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a good week. We’ve had an interesting one, I had to take some time off work to look after Arthur. It’s always slightly annoying to take time off work for this as I always feel I’m letting people down, but it really can’t be helped. Plus it is an absolute joy to look after this little one on his own. It’s rare that Art and I get one on one time together so it’s rather special when we do. We had a lovely little breakfast together in a sweet little cafe in Palmers Green, popped into town for a couple of errands, did a spot of painting once home and even managed a nap together before picking Boo up from nursery. Bliss.
This weekend, we all travelled down to celebrate my nephew’s second birthday and to meet my new nephew Levon. Betsy was rather taken with him, Arthur got jealous whenever I held him, which was interesting! I love these occasions, it’s not often the whole family get together these days.
