You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran

Living Arrows – a portrait a week of my two children.

Living Arrows

It has been a pretty good week this week, it’s been full of outdoorsy things and adventure. These two’s bond seems to get stronger every day. The arguments and disagreements are getting louder, yes (please tell me the screaming that Arthur does is just a phase), but they are forever keeping an eye out for each other, always happy to hold each other’s hand when walking down the street. This sitting on a wall was Betsy’s idea as it is next to the railway bridge, a place to rest while we wait for a train to go past for Arthur to spot, possibly his most favourite thing to do at the moment.

After watching a train, we walked to our local park. It was the first time I’ve taken them there for a while and I was super impressed with how good Art is with his climbing. He is fearless like his sister.

What a lovely set of photos! (I bought that hat for my son and he refused to ever wear it! It looks fab doesn’t it?) Love that shot of your daughter at the top of the slide! #livingarrows

Each time I see your two they look closer and closer in age. Love the first photo – all children just love a slide! x

That first photo is definitely my favourite! Her face is brilliant! It is always the simple things that seem to champion. Sounds like a lovely outing! x #LivingArrows
