You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran
Living Arrows – a portrait a week of my two children.
Well it has been a while since I last did a Living Arrows! I’m not sure why, we have been busy and I have some lovely photos from the past few weeks, I suspect I have been stretching myself a bit too thin recently. There will be some sort of catch-up post soon I am sure.
Anyway, Arthur turned three over the weekend. My lovely, gentle boy who makes us all laugh and who cares about his big sister a huge amount. The boy who adores cats but loves trains possibly more than anything else.
We had a little gathering in Trent Park to celebrate. Full of family, friends and cousins (so many cousins!), we sat in a meadow and ate lots of food while the kiddos ran around, had horsey rides and flew a kite. It was a good day.
Most of all, Arthur enjoyed his day. He LOVED the cake and was especially interested by the train tracks. He loved the day so much that by the time we came home, he staggered through the house and fell asleep on the stairs.
Happy birthday, little Bean. X
