You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran
Living Arrows – a portrait a week of my two children.
I have hardly seen my Boo this week. Dave took her camping for the weekend. Not just any old camping, but LARP-festing, where you dress up, have a character and sleep in a bell tent. Betsy had a great time by all accounts, but there’s no photographic evidence sadly. Meanwhile Arthur and I did the obvious thing on some of the hottest days of the year and ride on public transport! You want to treat Arthur? You take him on a train. We ended up in Canary Warf, enjoying all the futuristic walkways and having a good explore around the roof gardens in the Crossrail station.
It was nice to be back and see the gardens in the warmth and daylight after being there once before two Januarys ago. Street Feast have set up an area there called Giant Robot and looked pleasantly quiet on a Saturday. Really want to go back for some food (and cocktails!) there soon.
