Living Arrows | Baking betsy

A quiet week, this week. Since our little break last week we’ve just been pottering on, taking it easy and going back to work. Because of that, I’ve not really touched my proper camera, I’ve just not had the impetus, although the light was so gorgeous yesterday we all popped into the park, hung out under ‘our tree’ (the big oak in the middle of the main field) and I snapped away.

Arthur has this thing at the moment where if he spies me taking a picture he’ll run over to me to have a look at the taken shot. So many of my pictures at the moment are of an Arthur looming and getting ever closer in the frame in a sequence of shots. I feel a gif coming on..

Ah, this girl. It’s party season here a the moment and every day she is asking if today is her birthday and if she is four yet. Soon, my lovely, soon.

Living Arrows

  1. Party seasons I love it. 🙂 Looks like a fun day out in the Fall air. Gorgeous captures. #livingarrows

  2. Oh your tree is rather gorgeous isn’t it – and yay for Arthur’s curiosity – hand him a camera and see what happens!

  3. Gorgeous photos. A gif would be funny. I think every kid goes through that phase. N’s a bit past it now at 4, but his 6 year old cousin still does it, because he’s not used to having a parent snapping away all the time.

  4. Hahaha, my girl does exactly the same when I try to take a photo. They usually just end up as close up photos as her face. Definitely make the Gif! 😉

    Beautiful snapshots.

  5. If you stick a bunch of pics in Google Photos, it’ll make a GIF for you, fairly effort-free. I’ve ended up with a few fairly entertaining ones with shots it’s automatically uploaded from my phone.
