Hello, hello, it’s been a while since I’ve posted about my photo a day project, so apologies for the massive photo dump about to happen….

096/365 Picnic lunch at Forty Hall.

Untitled
097/365 The last Cafe Tuesday of my maternity leave.

Untitled
098/365 A coots next on the New River. It’s pretty unusual for a bird to leave the next once she’s laid her eggs, right? These eggs were exposed for quite a bit of time. As of writing though she’s back on there and has about seven eggs too. Also, how disgusting is that nest? People of Enfield, take your litter home!

Untitled
099/365 Visited my sister in Haywards Heath today and we went on a stroll over to Lindfield through a nature reserve. Betsy climbed on every tree and Julia showed me these flowers living under a willow. They’re called purple toothwort and are parasitic!

Untitled
100/365 Lovely daffs.

Untitled
101/365 Ian.

Untitled
102/365 Betsy and the strawberry plants that she planted herself. She’s been out in the garden every day since then watching the fruits grow.

Untitled
103/365 The second meeting for my WI and they spring this ice breaking game on me. I am too much of an introvert to like these type of things, so a mixed meeting for me.

Untitled
104/365 Down to Milford. Boo and I couldn’t wait to get down to the beach especially as Auntie Bec was there!

Untitled
105/365 On the beach.

Untitled
106/365 Pretty bleak looking beach huts, aren’t they? They got partially destroyed during the storms last year and plans are still being drawn up with how to replace them.

Untitled
107/365 Sharing a snack.

Untitled
108/365 The whole time we were down in Milford, Betsy kept asking where Nana and Poppa were (they were in Exeter). When they finally did come home, Betsy could not stop jumping up and down on one spot she was so excited to see them. Then she cuddled up with Nana and played games on the iPad, which I think is Betsy’s most favourite thing to do. (she also stayed up until half 11 she was so excited. Was also good as gold and generally amazing)

Untitled
109/365 Took a few photos of mum and dad’s garden before heading back to Enfield. Everything is glorious and a riot of colour. Love these primroses.

Untitled
110/365 Betsy on the tree outside our library.

Untitled
111/365 Honestly, you turn your back for ONE MINUTE and you come back and discover that Arthur can not only climb onto the sofa, but onto the back of the sofa, onto the window sill and then find some of Betsy’s craft supplies, which of course includes and open jar of glitter. Of COURSE a open glitter jar is the best thing to shake!

Untitled
117/365 I always forget we have these bleeding hearts in the front garden. Always a nice surprise to see them.

Untitled
116/365 The wisteria outside the house has flowered *happy sigh*

Untitled
117/365 On the walk to playgroup this day we bumped into Sian and Seren. Betsy and Seren insisted on holding hands while on their own buggy boards which made steering a bit tricky for me and Sian, but it was super sweet so we didn’t really mind. Both girls were total sweethearts to each other all day actually, so lovely to see this friendship grow (they’ve known each other since Betsy was days (a day?) old)

118/365 Street art next to Shoreditch High street Overground. I took Arthur into town today to pick up some business cards from Moo. This will probably be the last time it’s just the two of us having a wonder around the city as I’m now back at work. Will really, really miss these occasional trips, they’re lovely and relaxed.

Untitled
119/365 Literally the only picture I took today. Ian has started sleeping in some new places this week for some reason. It was also my last day of mat leave and while Betsy was with my in laws, Art and I did what we usually do on a Wednesday and wondered down to Love 13 for tea and cake, have a wander through town and back home in the afternoon for a nap (for both of us). Lovely stuff.

Untitled
120/365 Betsy insisted she, Arthur and Dave all walk me to the train station for my return to work. LOVE HER.

Untitled
121/365 We had a pretty eventful day today with a music group in the morning, a pub lunch and then some baking, but this was the only thing I took a photo of. oh well. It’s a great magazine! Really enjoying it.

Untitled
122/365 Arthur playing with the walker, probably his most favourite toy at the moment.
