Oh February! I have a strange relationship with you. On some levels you are rather nice with the signs of spring peeping through and all the birthdays you had (my parents’ and Dave’s), but you are still flipping freezing and I am getting bored with having ears that feel like they’re going to fall off every time I step out of the door. But! It’s been lovely seeing some daylight when I finish work and Betsy and I have had lots of fun together this month visiting Tate Britain and Whipsnade but had much less fun visiting hospital.
Basically, I think we were all waiting for March to appear, weren’t we?
1. Rocking Moose, 2. Beach huts, 3. Seaweed, 4. Happy birthday, Ma!, 5. Hospital, 6. Baking, 7. Happy, birthday, Dave!, 8. Me and my shadow, 9. Untitled, 10. cutie pie, 11. messy, 12. Parliamentary pancake race, 13. ugh, overcrowding again, 14. Valentines presents
1. memorial tree, 2. family snapshot, 3. TV dinner, 4. nap, 5. Geffrye museum, 6. Pork belly, 7. Borough Market, 8. At Tate Britain, 9. Box fun, 10. adventurer, 11. goat at Whipsnade Zoo, 12. surprised face, 13. Homeward bound, 14. The fourth plinth
Come March comes spring and with spring marks many new beginnings. It’s going to be a busy one for us as we prepare to move house at the end of the month (finally! Our current place has been on the market for over a year). We’re not going too far, just a five minute walk away, but we are so desperate for the extra space this new house will bring (small garden though, but that’s a compromise I’m willing to take) and the bigger kitchen and the spare bedrooms so that people can actually stay over. It’s going to be amazing.
