I have long been an admirer of the Siblings Project, a monthly portrait of siblings together. What’s not to like about having a series of photos documenting your children? While I have long been taking part in Living Arrows for precisely that reason, I am finding it increasingly more difficult to get photos of Betsy and Arthur together. To take part in Siblings every month would mean taking pictures with more intention, actively seeking out moments of these two together, and that is no bad thing.
These pictures from this month are far from the quality that I would like. Taken last weekend while on a break from decorating, I took the kiddos to the supermarket (we know how to have fun!) and we popped into Krispy Kreme for a treat (It may have been a bribe to get the children out of the house while Dave finished off and knocked out the wardrobe. I’m brilliant at parenting!). While covered in sugar and sprinkles, I took a couple of shots of Boo on her own when all of a sudden, Arthur walked round, popped his arm around her and shouted “CHEEEESE” at me. A first time for that and a photo opportunity not to be missed. Shame about the bright outdoors behind them, but the memory kept far more important.
