You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran

There is nothing quite like discovering a new wood to explore. For me, it brings out the child inside as I walk around in wonder, listening to the bird song, spotting all the different fauna. I mentioned in my spring wishlist that I wanted to see some bluebells in the woods and we managed to do just that last Monday. Using a recommendation from Sian, we drove up to Gobions Wood in Hertfordshire. It a beautiful wood, it feels old and magical. Dave and the kids found sticks of power and Betsy excitedly spotted bluebells for me. We had a picnic under a huge tree and climbed some others. I very, very happily snapped away.
