You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran
All the fun of the fair this week. It was at the Enfield Pageant and this was Betsy’s first ever goes on the ‘big’ rides.
She only did the big swings and the wheel, but I think they’re the highlight of her year so far? She did not stop smiling when on them. Arthur had a little ride too, of course. Happy as larry in his train.
We weren’t at the pageant for too long, getting there late (half price entry!) and being rather cold, but we managed to see a fair bit. There’s a big amount of stalls, many really interesting with really nice looking pieces and there’s quite a few people decked out in all their vintage finery too, I was in heaven! We missed the musical entertainment, but next year, we will get there early and spend the whole day there, there was so much to see. The cars were the stars though and there were hundreds (possibly thousands) of classic cars. I can’t believe we’ve not been there before, it’s a big date in the Enfield calendar.
But it was the fair that was the highlight and Boo only wants to know when the next fair will arrive in town.
