We had a walk around Myddelton House over the weekend. This was the first time we’d been back since the summer and although lacking in flowers this time round, the gardens are just as colourful.

I still feel like I’m in summer mode sometimes, but there’s something about the crispness to the air that’s so unique to autumn. It’s bracing and energising and when the Sun is out it’s just perfect.
